Terms and conditions

These Terms of Sale apply to all purchases made through Nexber. By placing an order, you agree to the following legal protections and limitations regarding our products, delivery, and installation.
1. Limitation of Liability (Installation)
Nexber is a supplier of precision-engineered hardware components. We are not installers.
• Installation Damage: We accept no responsibility or liability for damage caused to the product, your property, or surrounding cabinetry during the assembly or installation process.
• Workmanship: Nexber is not liable for faults or safety issues arising from "incorrect installation practice," failure to adhere to provided manuals, or the use of improper tools/fixings.
• Structural Responsibility: It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure the mounting surface (wall/floor) is structurally sound and capable of withstanding the operational tension of the mechanism.
2. Delivery & Project Delays
While we aim for prompt delivery, shipping timelines are estimates and not guarantees.
• Delayed Delivery: Nexber is not liable for any delays caused by third-party couriers, logistics, or transit issues.
• Contractor Fees: We accept no responsibility for financial penalties, "waiting time" charges, or labor costs incurred from builders, joiners, or tradespeople due to delivery delays.
• Project Planning: We strongly recommend that you do not schedule professional installation or begin building work until you have received, unboxed, and fully inspected your items.
3. Professional Advice & Safety
Wall bed mechanisms involve high-tension components (pistons/springs) and must be handled with care.
• Qualified Labor: We strongly suggest that all units be installed by a qualified professional. Any injury or property damage resulting from DIY installation or improper handling is the sole responsibility of the customer.
• Maintenance: The customer is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the hardware to ensure continued safe operation.
4. Claims & Maximum Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
• Cap on Liability: Nexber’s total liability for any claim—whether based on contract, negligence, or product fault—shall not exceed the original purchase price paid for the goods.
• Indirect Losses: We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, or loss of use.
5. Product Specifications
Nexber reserves the right to make minor technical adjustments to products that do not materially affect their function. Customers must ensure they have checked the latest specifications on our website before beginning any custom cabinetry work

Returns and Refund Policy

At Nexber, we want to ensure your space-saving journey is as smooth as possible. Because our wall bed mechanisms are precision-engineered mechanical systems, they require specific care during the return process. Once these systems are installed or assembled, they cannot be resold as new; for this reason, we kindly ask that you thoroughly review all product specifications before placing your order.

Our Return Guidelines

To be eligible for a full refund, items must be returned to us in as new condition. This means the item must be completely unused and uninstalled, in its original and undamaged packaging, and include all components, fixings, hardware, and manuals. Return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery, and the item must show no signs of installation, assembly, or use upon inspection. Please note that if a return does not meet these criteria, it may be rejected or subject to a partial refund deduction as outlined below.

Understanding Signs of Use and Partial Refunds

If an item is returned with evidence of handling or assembly, its resale value is significantly impacted. A 40% deduction will be applied to the refund if our inspection team finds drill marks, scratches, or scuffs on any components, or if piston components have been fitted or compressed. This deduction also applies to missing or used hardware, damaged or opened packaging, and any modifications or alterations. Refunds are processed once our team has completed a full inspection. In cases of significant damage, we reserve the right to refuse the refund entirely.

Shipping Your Return

To ensure your return reaches us safely, please keep the following in mind. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. We require the use of a tracked and insured courier service as Nexber cannot be held liable for items lost or damaged during return transit. Original outbound delivery charges are non-refundable.

Deliveries: Helping Us Reach You

Successful delivery is a team effort. To avoid redelivery fees, please ensure someone is available to accept the order at the agreed time. Regarding failed or refused deliveries, if a delivery fails due to an incorrect address, refusal of the shipment, or if no one is present to receive it, the customer is responsible for the redelivery costs. These charges must be settled before a second attempt is made.

Regarding access and property details, please let us know at the time of ordering if there are any speed bumps our drivers should know about, such as the number of floors, lift dimensions, narrow doorways, corridors, sharp turns, parking restrictions, entry codes, or concierge requirements.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for items that have been fully or partially installed, items without their original packaging, custom or made-to-order configurations, or requests made after the 14-day window.

How to Start a Return

To start a return, contact us by emailing our team at [contact email] within 14 days of delivery. Please include your order number, delivery date, and the reason for the return. Finally, await written authorization and instructions from our team before shipping your item. Returns sent without prior authorization cannot be accepted.

This policy is subject to change and does not affect your statutory rights under consumer protection legislation.

Safety Guidelines – Piston Loaded Wall Bed Mechanism
Section 1: Installation Safety
Personal Protective Equipment
Always wear appropriate PPE during installation, including safety glasses and protective gloves.
Steel-toed footwear is strongly recommended when handling heavy components.
Wall & Structural Assessment
Ensure the installation wall is structurally sound and capable of supporting the combined weight of the mechanism, frame, mattress, and dynamic load forces.
Always locate and avoid concealed pipework, electrical cables, and other services within the wall prior to drilling.
Installation must be carried out into solid masonry or adequately reinforced stud walls. Do not install into unsupported plasterboard or partition walls without appropriate fixings.
Fixings & Fasteners
Use only the specified fixings supplied or recommended by the manufacturer. Do not substitute with inferior or incorrect fasteners.
All wall fixings must be torqued to the manufacturer's specified settings. Under-tightened fixings present a serious collapse risk.
Verify that all bolts, brackets, and mounting hardware are fully secured before proceeding to the next stage of installation.
Handling & Lifting
Due to the weight of the mechanism and associated components, a minimum of two persons is required during installation at all times.
Use appropriate mechanical lifting aids where necessary. Do not attempt to manoeuvre heavy components alone.
Take care when handling piston components — pistons may carry pre-loaded tension and should be handled with caution prior to fitting.
Piston Fitting
Ensure pistons are fitted strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Incorrect fitting can result in uncontrolled bed movement.
Do not attempt to compress, modify, or tamper with pistons at any stage.
Confirm both pistons are evenly and securely attached at all pivot points before testing.
Final Checks Before Handover
Conduct a full inspection of all fixings, joints, and moving parts prior to operation.
Test the mechanism through several complete open and close cycles under controlled conditions before the unit is handed over or put into use.
Ensure all tools and foreign objects are clear of the mechanism before testing.
Section 2: Operating Safety
General Use
This mechanism is designed for use by adults and responsible persons only. Children must not operate the wall bed unsupervised.
Never exceed the maximum recommended mattress weight and size as specified by the manufacturer.
Do not use the bed for any purpose other than its intended function.
Lowering the Bed
Before lowering the bed, ensure the area in front of the unit is completely clear of people, pets, and objects.
Always use both hands when lowering the bed. Maintain a firm, controlled grip on the designated handle or bed panel throughout the movement.
Never allow the bed to drop freely — the pistons are designed to assist controlled lowering, not to replace manual guidance.
Do not stand directly beneath the bed while lowering.
Raising the Bed
Ensure all bedding, pillows, and loose items are secured or removed before raising the bed.
Check that no persons or pets are on or beneath the bed before closing.
Use both hands and apply steady, even pressure when raising the bed to the closed position.
Ensure the bed is fully latched or secured in the upright position before leaving unattended.
Foldable Desk (Where Applicable)
Ensure the desk is fully retracted and secured beneath the bed before lowering or raising the mechanism.
Do not place items on the desk while the bed is in motion.
Check that the desk locking mechanism is fully engaged before use.
Routine Checks & Maintenance
Regularly inspect all fixings, piston attachments, and pivot points for signs of wear, loosening, or damage.
If any unusual resistance, noise, or imbalance is noticed during operation, cease use immediately and inspect before continuing.
Do not attempt to repair or adjust piston components yourself — contact a qualified technician.
Lubricate moving parts periodically as recommended by the manufacturer.
In the Event of a Fault
If the mechanism fails to operate smoothly or becomes stuck in any position, do not force it.
Keep the area around the unit clear and contact a qualified installer or the manufacturer for assistance.
